I just realised something- "Life is a bitch and then one day you die"

I met a saint recently who told me just one thing. The entire life is only in this one moment - no less, no more! Whatever happened an hour ago, or whatever will happen an hour later, is false. The only truth is this moment. That is the only truth of life. All spirituality just makes you aware of this basic truth so that you can live only in this moment.

Another thing, what if the sun doesn't want to come out one day? may be more than one day, one month, one year? But God loves you and it shines, day after day, year after year! Just open your eyes to the myriad ways in which He shows His love for you! See the colors of the flowers, take a walk in the park - can you build a beautiful flower? Yes, you can paint one, but can you build one? Try building one, and see the beauty in you unfold; the God in you unfold. It's a beautiful feeling.

Often we try to do great things in life; and ignore the minor things which, we think, don't merit our attention. But God is only in the small things - sounds familiar?

A beautiful movie had a very simple message. What is the truth of life? Answer: JUST ONE THING! To focus your entire attention to just one thing, whatever you are doing at the moment. In that time, there is nothing before, nothing after.

So, my friend, life is really not a bitch, but a beautiful opportunity given to us by the divine to explore the beauty of creation, in all its manifestations. If we are happy at one time, to enjoy that feeling. If we are sad at another time, to feel that sadness. Because He wants us to experience life - not as a passive onlooker, but, rather, as a dispassionate seeker. For every moment is His!

And pray, for all that He has given us - the things that we see and the ones that we don't.
